Happy New Year! 

After a whirlwind holiday season, I'm sure we're all ready for a little bit of a breather. So - grab a mug of tea or coffee, and sit down to read about God's amazing blessing to our little camp over the last few months. 

Most of you know that we just finished our second annual Christmas Gift Catalogue. I'll be honest - I was nervous. New and exciting programs get attention, and we were blessed to received over $4,000 of support for existing camp needs last year, but I was afraid of a 'sophomore slump', where the Beacon family got busy with the holiday season and then forgot about the Christmas catalogue. 

It turns out I had nothing to be afraid of: God is very good.

All told, we had more than double the number of donations come in this past year, and people were very creative with their donation amounts and choices in order to honour various loved ones. Without further ado, here are the totals for the various items we'll be purchasing for camp next summer: 

• 3 Arts and Crafts Supply Kits
• 10 Sports Equipment Sets
• 6 Canoe Paddles
• 20 Bibles
• 2 new PFDs
• 3 Archery Kits
• 15 Sets of New Camp Dishes
• 2 Water Filters
• 12 Mattresses
• 1 Digital Projector
• $1875 for new docks
• $5150 to be used for any purpose (but probably used for the docks)

All told, we raised $10,145 dollars. It was an amazing privilege to see the interest in supporting Beacon's practical needs, and we are in awe of how wonderful God is, through you. Again and again, I say thank you for your support.
