Beacon Bible Camp is a non-profit organization that exists to provide an adventurous Christian camping experience where people, particularly youth, can be encouraged to respond to the gospel of the Lord Jesus and to grow in their Christian life.

Groups

Group Rentals

Part of Beacon's mission is to support the growth of the local church, and that means we’d love to host your next group rental.

Over the years, Beacon has served thousands of people from youth groups, schools and church retreats in a beautiful nature setting. Our pricing is competitive with most retreat centers and camps in our area, and we work incredibly hard to ensure your group has the best possible experience while you're with us.

Do you have a Christ-centered program or project that you want to chat about? We want to hear from you! While we primarily have rental groups come up for church or school retreats, we have also heard from university christian groups, moms in need of a weekend away and even church small groups that want to deepen their relationship with each other.

As a Christian charitable organization, Beacon's rental programs are restricted to groups that promote the same values. Generally speaking, we expect that Bible teaching happens during the rental to ensure that our charitable objectives are met. If you have questions about this, use the form below to contact us and we'll help you figure out the best path forward.

Our Facilities

During the spring (May to June) and autumn (September to November), Beacon can accommodate up to 160 guests (including leaders) for retreats or events. Most cabins are insulated against the cold, and we provide heating when the temperature drops below comfortable levels.

In the winter (January to early March), we can host up to 60 guests (including leaders). Our winterized lodges all have washrooms located in the building, and are a short walk to our main meeting spaces and dining hall.

When you book with us, we'll provide a breakdown of all available resources and ensure everything is ready for when you arrive!

Beacon has two main meeting spaces, called the Lighthouse and the Town Hall, which can host your group meetings and worship sessions. Other smaller spaces around camp can hold breakout sessions if required. Both main meeting spaces can be set up for amplified sound and presentations.

Meals and Food Service

Beacon strives to provide a balanced diet through our food service for our guests. Meals are served three times a day (8:30am, 12:30pm and 5:30pm), and we offer a snack in the late evening for those staying overnight. As a part of your rental agreement, Beacon provides a head cook to manage the kitchen and meal preparation. You have the option of providing your own supporting kitchen staff or requesting Beacon to provide the helpers. If you would like to keep costs at a minimum, and provide your own supporting kitchen staff, please be advised that you will be required to read and agree to a set of kitchen expectations.

Meals are served family style to each table of 10 guests. Serving meals family style allows us to be more exact in our portions so that we don't waste food. Our Dining Hall is never locked. Guests are welcome to enter during their stay, where they will find coffee, tea and a bowl of fresh fruit.

Beacon is a nut-aware facility and is equipped to accommodate those with nut allergies. If your group has participants who are allergic to a certain product, please let us know so that we can ensure a safe experience for all while at our camp. While we are happy to offer alternate meal plans for those with dietary restrictions and food allergies (such as celiac disease), Beacon does not cater to individual food preferences (such as vegan or vegetarian diets). If you have special dietary concerns, please contact us to discuss how we can work together with you to ensure you have what you need.

If you have any specific questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us using the form below, and we'll have our hospitality staff get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Costs

Beacon strives to keep costs affordable for all rental groups. The costs below are listed per person, and are designed for a typical two-day weekend rental, including accommodation, 5 meals, snacks and access to all available program areas.

Adults (Ages 18+): $170

Youth (Ages 9-17): $160

Children (Ages 3-8): $110

Infants (Ages 0-2): Free

If you're planning a group rental that doesn't fit the traditional weekend model (school groups, other mid-week rentals), get in touch with us using the form below. We'll help create a custom quote that reflects your needs and program plans. Some program areas require additional costs, which can be discussed as needed during the rental preparation process (for example: if you require lifeguards for your programming, we can help source those staff for you for a small cost per lifeguard). Samples of these costs are below:

Kitchen Staff: $220/weekend/cook (1 cook required per 25 guests)

Program Staff and Lifeguards: $27/hour (3 hour minimum) + gas
