I know that Summer 2018 leaves are still in the process of falling off of the trees, but as for Beacon’s full-time staff, our minds can already see a forest of trees with fresh green leaves blowing in the warm breeze as the sound of 2019’s campers fill the air. And we are starting to ask ourselves: who will walk alongside us in our vision for next year?

In short: it’s time to start thinking about Summer Staff 2019!

Each summer we are so blessed by the servant leadership of our summer staff team, whose work behind the scenes is what allows camp to function. The role is no walk in the park, as any former summer staff member will tell you, but it is without a doubt essential to the ministry at Beacon. We are always excited to be in the summer staff recruitment process because as much as it is a benefit to Beacon, we firmly believe that each summer staff member will have a chance to deepen their faith and grow in character as a result of serving the Lord at Beacon.

Applications become available on the website on November 1st, 2018 and remain open until December 31st, 2018. You can check out the summer staff page on the Beacon site to see position descriptions and FAQs that might help you decide if applying for Summer Staff 2019 is where God is taking you this summer.
