There are leaders that we admire all around us. Off the top of your head you could probably name a teacher whose style in the classroom engaged you, a youth leader whose energy inspired you, or a speaker whose stories made you wish to experience the same things.

The thing about leaders is that there’s no age, stature or personality that automatically made them a leader. You can’t tell from their hair colour or shoe size. You can’t guarantee it based on their family background or neighbourhood. Although some possess natural leadership qualities, the fact is that leadership is ultimately a skill that anyone can develop, and it takes training to turn qualities with potential into true leadership skills.

Enter you: You are a person with God-given qualities. He’s given them to you for a reason. And maybe you could use a chance to develop those qualities into skills that could be used by God to lead others.

Enter: FLIGHT at Beacon! We want to train up “Future Leaders in God’s Harvest” - young Christians who can grow their leadership skills within the fast-paced and fun-loving environment of camp, and then take those skills and use them in new ways and places.
