Beacon Bible Camp
Beacon is hosting our Annual General Meeting in a few weeks. Here is a quick note from our Board of Trustees.
Greetings from the Board of Directors of Beacon Bible Camp!
This is your invitation to the 2020 Annual General Meeting of Beacon Bible Camp. We look forward to being together on Saturday March 28th (6:30pm) at Riverdrive Park Bible Chapel in Bradford (20246 Bathurst St, Holland Landing - a Google map is below).
The annual meeting is a wonderful time to focus on the Lord and His work at Beacon Bible Camp. It's also your opportunity to take a deeper look at the workings at camp, participate in motions that will set the tone for camp, and pray alongside and support those that will be serving on the front lines at camp.
The Financial Statement Summary is available upon request.
The Board Elections will take place at the Annual Meeting. Each Board member has been elected to a three year term with 2 or 3 Board members standing for election or re-election each year. The reason for this is so that we have good continuity of the Board as well as remaining accountable to you the membership.
While we still encourage attendance at the meeting for a chance to pray together, worship together, and meet face to face with those we serve with; we understand that it's not always possible. We would like to give all members including those not able to attend the Annual Meeting the opportunity to have their vote in the election of Board Members.
One request we have is that you let us know if you plan to attend or not to attend. This will help in the planning of this evening as well as allow us to keep the membership list current and up to date.
If you are not yet a member, but would like to become a member, please contact the camp office, and we’ll get a membership form to you.
