Beacon Unlimited: Lockdown Edition
Beacon Bible Camp
It’s been a strange time for everyone, but Beacon wants to help fill the gap! Over the last three weeks, we’ve been hosting over 50 campers for our Lockdown Edition of Beacon Unlimited! As we turn our attention to planning and preparing for the summer, Beacon Unlimited: Lockdown Edition will be ending this week, but we’re so glad to have filled January with all sorts of fun things. Check out the recap of our program below:
Week One: We explored some of the incredible miracles of Jesus, like how He healed a blind man, and turned water into wine. Of course, we had lots of fun finding games and activities that matched up to those miracles (like doing science experiments where we changed the colour of water (but we didn’t make wine…)
Week Two: Last week, we studied two very important verses in Ephesians 3 that ultimately showed us that joining God for his eternal party in heaven is the best thing we could ever want! From creating shadow art to building our very own paper animals, we had a great time
Week Three: Grab your carry-on - we’re heading around the world. This week, we “visited” missionaries in Colombia, China and Zambia, as well as learned about how God is using organizations like Matthew House and Wycliffe Bible Translators to help share the Gospel with people all around the world… and here at home!
Next week, we’re taking a look at how we’re created for good works - every day will be focused on doing something fun… but also something that will bless other people! Whether it’s writing personal handmade cards or baking some colorful chocolate chip cookies, we’re planning to go out with a bang! All the details are at www.beaconunlimited.ca. In the meantime, enjoy a few of the photos from the past few weeks below - we love everyone’s creativity and joy!
