Introducing Spring Sessions!
Beacon Bible Camp
We know that another lockdown / stay-at-home is hard. Ontario has been back and forth so many times with open and closed rules and regulations that it feels a bit like we’re at a tennis match, doesn’t it? As adults, it can feel frustrating, but at Beacon, we are particularly thinking of our campers - we love you, and want to see you at camp! It’s not possible right now (but we’re looking forward to this summer so MUCH!), so we thought we would bring another fun online program to you!
Our good friend Julia “Shimmer” Patelli has very generously offered to host another online hangout for our campers (ages 6-14) every Friday for the rest of the school year! We’re calling it Spring Sessions, and we’re pumped to be looking at the Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5 over the next nine weeks!
Friday afternoons from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, you can find us on Zoom hanging out with our favourite campers: Beacon campers! (Also, in case you missed it… you just have to come to a session, and you’re automatically one of our favourite campers!). The best part? Just like the January lockdown, all our programming is completely free!
You are more than welcome to be with us for the whole spring, or just one or two sessions as you are free. And if you can’t participate on Friday afternoons, here’s a few other things you might want to consider:

Memory Work Monday
Matching up with our weekly sessions, we’re offering a memory verse challenge every week! If you can get each week’s verse memorized (and Mom or Dad verify that you’ve done it!), then we’ll send you a special prize at the end of our Spring Sessions! We’ll post a “disappearing verse” every day on our Instagram Story feed to help you out!
Building Challenges
We know, from our vast experience with online learning over the past year, that the best kind of online fun is when you get to work with your hands too! We also know how popular our construction sessions were… so we’re posting a weekly building challenge for our campers. You can use LEGO, Duplo, toothpicks - anything that you want to make a fun interpretation of the weekly theme!
