Maintenance Building Replacement Project
We’re excited to announce a significant building upgrade that has been a couple of years in the works: the replacement of our maintenance building. Bruce (or the Hulk) gets a new home!
The current building was built in 1975 and has been well used to house our vehicles, materials and act as a shop for our maintenance team. The reality is that with more and more kids coming to camp, we have taken all available space for campers and programming. Storage space is limited and we have been utilizing temporary containers to store materials and equipment.
The new maintenance building will be constructed next to the existing building. It will be 2.5 times larger so that we have room for all vehicles to be indoors during the winter as well as provide a larger heated shop area and storage.
Our plan is to finish construction before the start of winter of 2024. Mr. Tok will be overseeing the construction and completion of the building. Please pray for God’s guidance with the planning, material procurement and safe construction of this building.
The overall cost is estimated at $350,000.
