Maintenance Building Replacement
Maintenance Building Replacement Project
We would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the building of the new Maintenance building.
From ground clearing in May to the internal finishing touches in October, the new building now is fully utilized to store vehicles and our maintenance equipment / supplies.
The 1975 building is only a memory now and its removal has opened up outdoor maintenance workspace and additional vehicle parking.
Because of those who donated materials, labour and funds this project was completed on schedule. The overall cost of the building design, materials and construction were lower than the budget because of the wonderful support from the Beacon faithful.
The only remaining portion of this project is the installation of an additional back up power generator for Beacon. This new generator equipment is expected to be installed in 2025 and will backup power the new maintenance building, Crowsnest and hopefully the Wheelhouse / Town Hall.
We praise God for all who prayed for this project and the safety during construction. We are so thankful for those who donated funds, materials and their time constructing this building. A special thank you to Mr. Tok for his oversight and skills during the project.
Please ask Strider for a tour the next time you are at Beacon.
