Skills Camp

To ensure a safe and healthy camping experience, we offer on-site nationally and provincially recognized training programs for our staff and others who are interested.
Applicants who sign up for Skills Camp courses will be contacted after registration with details regarding what to pack and how to prepare. For some courses, pre-work is required - more details will be available after registration.
AQUATIC LEADERSHIP COURSES
These fees include all meals and accommodation for the duration of the courses. If you will not require overnight accommodations, please contact the camp office to discuss fee adjustments.
Bronze + SFA
Dates: July 1-3
Cost: $425Zero to Hero (Bronze + NLS Waterfront + SFA)
Dates: June 29-July 3
Cost: $815Recert NLS Waterfront + SFA
Dates: July 2-3
Cost: $290Recert NLS Waterfront (No SFA)
Dates: July 2-3
Cost: $235
Note: These courses meet all training requirements from the Lifesaving Society, including minimum training hours and materials. Aquatic leadership courses are completed in an outdoor environment.
*Dates may require modification to accommodate for inclement weather.
REGISTRATION
We’re so happy you’re planning to join us at Beacon this year! Follow these 3 steps to complete registration:
Go to our camper portal and create an account with us. This will allow our office to register you for the desired course. You will also complete payment through this portal. If you’ve already created an account with us you can skip this step.
Please complete and submit the form bellow. We are limited to a certain number of students per instructor so completing this form does not guarantee you a spot.
