Fathers and sons don't have to miss out on the opportunity to engage with the Beacon community this fall! This year Beacon will run a Father-Son evening that will include icebreakers, games, devotions, and small group sharing time. An optional coffeehouse hour will also be offered after the main programming for the dads who are interested in further conversations.
The theme of this year’s Virtual Father/Son is "Stay in the Game". When things don't go as we planned or are difficult and tiring - as 2020 has often been - it can be easy to want to check out or give in. But as with many Biblical characters, heroes of faith, and ultimately Jesus Himself, we see that God calls us and empowers us to endure and persevere. We hope to encourage each other to stay strong and play hard in the contexts God has put us.
Our hope is that you will find refreshment from being with camp friends, new and old, and from hearing what God has to say to you. See you there!
