Beacon Bible Camp is a non-profit organization that exists to provide an adventurous Christian camping experience where people, particularly youth, can be encouraged to respond to the gospel of the Lord Jesus and to grow in their Christian life.

How long have you been attending/serving at Beacon?
I went to Jr. Boys in 1990 and have been involved in Beacon ever since.
What camp have you helped out at recently and what were some highlights?
I have been using the Bible to point people towards Jesus at Coed for a long time now and my favourite part of camp is seeing God move in people.
What are your personal favourite food, place and activity at camp?
Food: Grilled cheese
Place: The path on the way to the beach
Activity: Singing
What are you up to these days?
I have three children and the oldest will be going into her second year of Jr. Girls. I build desks for a living, and I love to preach God's word wherever I get an opportunity.
What’s a talent or hobby of yours that your campers might not know about?
Give me a pen and paper and I love to sit alone and sketch.
Why do you love volunteering at Beacon?
Beacon has been an important part of my life for a long time, and because I have been blessed by camp, I am honoured that God has allowed me to use my talents to serve others at camp as well.
